Brookmeade Elementary School Nashville
Found in southeastern Nashville, Brookmeade Elementary School serves a student body of more than 250 students from Kindergarten to 4th Grade. A part of the Metropolitan Nashville Public School (MNPS) District, Brookmeade follows the District curriculum for core classes. In addition to traditional classes, students will also have access to Special Programs, extracurricular activities, and other programs that will help them develop in all areas. Its mission of providing a nurturing learning environment allows students to strive for higher levels of learning during their tenure at Brookmeade.
Academically, the school shows strong performances in all areas. With Reading/Language Arts scores well above the state average at 97%, Brookmeade students show how effective the school’s curriculum is. Math scores were only slightly below the state average at 90%, versus the state average of 91%. When students begin their careers at Brookmeade, they will start with a well-rounded Kindergarten curriculum, which covers the core learning objectives of Reading, Listening & Speaking, Science, and Math. As they move forward through each grade level, students will be able to broaden the scope and reach of their knowledge in these and other areas.
